This all-new science fiction event will focus on the science impacting sci-fi, and sci-fi inspiring humans to create new technologies to bring us into space.
What better place to hold this event than Los Angeles, the center of both filmed entertainment and space exploration since before the Apollo moon landings?
(Southern California is home to Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL), SpaceX, Rocketdyne, and more.)
Sci-Fi LA will also cater to a wide range of sci-fi fans. How can we not invite xenomorphs, tribbles, and baby Yodas?
Fantasy L.A.
Highlighting the intersection of sword and sorcery epics and interactive gaming, this fantasy convention will serve as both a kick-off for the Ren fair season and one of the earliest on the calendar for cosplayers to debut their new or updated looks.
Along with an emphasis on roleplaying (both tabletop and live action), the event will feature vendors and panels for fans of magical realms such as Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, and Wizarding Worlds.
